The course is intended for RSOs, Assistant RSOs, HPs, and radiation safety staff who have previously completed a 5-day RSO course (or equivalent experience) and could use an update on current regulations and compliance issues.
Students will be able to focus on their specific needs or areas of interest by choosing which days and sessions of our five-day RSO course they wish to attend. We will emphasize practical answers for compliance issues, licensing, amendments, audits, dosimetry, instruments, training, wastes, shipping and receiving, emergency response, ALARA programs, and troubleshooting RSO issues.
